Privacy Policy

Last updated November 5, 2026

This policy explains how yt-analytics-readonly, a private tool operated by Patrick Cernik, accesses, uses, stores and shares data received from Google. yt-analytics-readonly uses YouTube API Services.

Who it is for

The tool is for Patrick Cernik's own use with YouTube channels he owns: Living in Moscow ID and Living in Pullman WA. It is not offered to the public.

Data accessed

With the channel owner's permission through Google OAuth, the tool requests two read-only permissions:

• YouTube Analytics (read-only): channel and video metrics such as views, estimated minutes watched, subscribers gained and lost, and average percentage viewed, by date, video and content type (Shorts or long-form).
• YouTube (read-only): basic channel information (channel ID and title), used to confirm the correct channel is connected.

It cannot change anything on YouTube and never asks for YouTube passwords.

How data is used

• To produce internal performance reports for the two channels.
• To compare videos and evaluate which hooks and openings perform best.

How data is shared

Analytics results are processed by AI tools that Patrick uses to prepare these reports and evaluations:

• Grok Bot, an AI assistant that runs the reporting and analysis on Patrick's behalf.
• TypeSafe AI's Jev decision model may be used to score or rank hooks against performance data.

Data is shared with these tools only for the purposes above. Google user data is not sold, used for advertising, or given to data brokers.

Storage and security

• OAuth credentials are kept private, are read only from protected configuration, and are never displayed or published. Short-lived access tokens are held in memory only.
• Reports and analysis outputs may be saved in Patrick's private working files and documents.
• This website does not use cookies and does not collect visitor data.

Deleting data and revoking access

In addition to the deletion process below, access can be revoked at any time in Google's security settings: https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions. To request deletion of stored data or ask a privacy question, email Patrick@StoryRealEstate.com. Stored YouTube data is deleted within 7 calendar days after access is revoked or a deletion request is received.
